My LP Portal — Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-03
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the My LP Portal website, mobile experience, dashboards, AI tools (including "Collin"), APIs, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at mylpportalsupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Acceptable Use
My LP Portal is designed to help business owners document incidents, run audits, manage checklists, and generate loss prevention reports. You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including employment, privacy, and evidentiary rules in your jurisdiction.
You may not:
- use the Service for any illegal, harassing, discriminatory, or fraudulent purpose;
- upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates a person's privacy;
- use the Service to make employment, arrest, prosecution, or credit decisions without independent verification;
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, resell, or sublicense any part of the Service;
- interfere with the operation, integrity, or security of the platform, including probing, scanning, or overloading infrastructure;
- use the Service to build a competing product or train competing machine learning models.
3. User Content and Data Ownership
You retain ownership of the incident reports, audit records, notes, images, and other content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant My LP Portal a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, back up, and display Customer Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service for you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for ensuring you have the legal right to record and store that information. My LP Portal does not verify user-submitted data.
4. AI Tools and Collin
Collin and other AI features generate summaries, recommendations, and observations based on the information you provide. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, and you must not treat AI-generated content as an investigative conclusion or as proof of misconduct without independent corroboration.
5. No Legal, Investigative, or Employment Advice
The Service, including all guides, templates, checklists, and AI output, is provided for informational and operational guidance only. It does not constitute legal, investigative, HR, or law-enforcement advice. Consult qualified professionals before taking employment action, contacting law enforcement, or making legal decisions.
6. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our payment processor. Fees are stated on the pricing page and may be updated on notice. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. If you believe you were billed in error, contact support within 30 days.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (for example, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and AI inference). Your use of those integrations is subject to the third parties' own terms. My LP Portal is not responsible for third-party outages or acts.
8. Service Availability and Changes
We work to keep the Service running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Material changes affecting paid features will be communicated in advance where practicable.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, or activity that endangers other users or the platform. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Customer Content after a reasonable retention period.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, brand assets, and original content (excluding Customer Content), is owned by My LP Portal and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will detect, deter, or prevent any specific loss, theft, or misconduct.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My LP Portal and its owners, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless My LP Portal from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which My LP Portal is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
